Yes, we had a car and getting to the tourist hotspots was simple. We used the Garland’s own shuttle bus to get to/from Universal.

Oh, The Garland is fab! It has such a lovely vibe - really retro but with a modern twist. Food and drink all really good, very clean everywhere and staff are super friendly!
