I would respectfully disagree unless the OP wants specifically located seats. There is extremly minimal risk not getting 2 seats together when on-line checkin opens 24 prior to the flight.

I do actually have a number and account. I was just expecting the app to provide some kind of loyalty card/barcode. Seems a bit of a faff having to real off a 16 digit number at checkout
