I would recommend hiring a car for the journey. You wont get hit with a one way charge between LAX and LAS. Try going on netflights.com and looking at car hire. Prices seem to start from £25 for one...

I've used Thrifty through Netlights twice before without any problems at all. I've also never experienced any hard sell from them after getting off the plane and picking up car. Thumbs up from me
