Great question 👍
We had booked tickets in the UK linked to the Disney stay- the ticket needs your first Disney day to coincide with your first night in an on site Disney - Dining plan starts then too. Our ticket was a 21 day ultimate, so had so many options when we moved into the villa too.Golf and water parks especially 😉
From a planning perspective the only thing it spoils is if you want to finish with a Disney hotel stay !
