We stayed at cypress pointe resort for 2 weeks last October as our son is also an only child so likes a pool area with other kids around. It was fab, a huge 3 bed 3 bath condo for £800 for 14 nights and it was in walking distance of loads of restaurants and so close to Disney as its at lake buena vista. I can highly recommend!
