I wouldn't touch tour operators villa homes with a barge pole. The owners of these homes are paid peanuts and generally, after the management company have been paid, the owner barely cover their costs for utilities etc, hence owners find themselves unable to update and keep their Florida investment up to a high standard that you paid for.

A DIY holiday is the only option I would take. Take a look at some of the Florida villas on offer on eBay, alternatively deal direct with owners who you believe genuinely care about their Florida home and the service they will offer you.
