Didn't the Op say he's sixty ? Total of four weeks off in the last ten years is definitely below average , it's two days off sick a year ! Especially as people get older and tend to have the various complaints and health issues an aging body brings it's pretty good.

Glad to hear it! But whilst not appalling, you seem to think a month off sick is good, I would find it unconcerning but not especially good. I don’t think my husband would have taken more than a few days off sick in the last fifteen years. I might be something more like your husband but I would not be thinking of myself as a good employee because of it. See more...
