I must be in the minority here, but I think it's great that they are opening the events earlier this year (same with MNSSHP) as it gives people visiting earlier in the season a chance to visit the houses.
We travel in August and its a bonus that we can visit MK because of the earlier events, otherwise we didn't have any Disney visits planned.
