The Day Before – Wednesday 27th May

Unusually for a holiday I was at work the day before and DH was on leave so he took care of checking in online – I found it very hard to relinquish control – some would say that’s the control freak in me but he did us proud managing to get exit row seats on the Newark-Tampa leg of the journey.

I had thought I would leave him to do the packing on this day but thought better of it and we did it together (meaning he lay on the bed and directed!) the previous weekend.
Finished packing the hand luggage when I got home from work and that was us ready for the off. If I remember correctly we had a debate on if we had enough room on the Sky+ box for while we were away (it turned out we didn’t) and tried to have an early night.
