Should i book via a trip specialist or direct?
I went to the Orlando gun club with my son, one of the best days of the holiday. Spent a good couple of hours shooting quite a few different types of guns, cost about $150-$200 which for 2 of us I don't think was expensive at all.
Your son will not be allowed to shot on his own I think as there have been a few cases of single men committing suicide at shooting ranges recently, you will have to accompany him. You need to take both your passports and sign a waiver, only takes 10 mins, then they take you on the range for safety training. You pay a small fixed price (about $10-15) and can choose any handgun they have available, if you want to shoot rifles you pay a little more. The price for the day depends on how many bullets you want to fire, if you want you can just buy a single box of ammo and it will only cost you $40-50 with the gun hire included. We got a voucher for free gun hire from a booklet in Dennys and plan on going back with my dad when we return in May.
