My friend is looking to go away end of Oct this year with her kids 10 and 7. She is recently widowed so looking for a nice villa with pool or a quiet resort somewhere in Europe but not Lanzarote (too many memories)�

She wants to be able to walk to shops restaurant's etc as doesn't want to drive.

any suggestions for her please ?
