Wound up calling Disney’s MDE support on 0800 169 0749. They’re in the US and open from 12pm noon UK time. Took me an hour or so of waiting on the phone, but problem was sorted and my son’s profile restored in 5 mins or so. Ticket & park reservations etc restored and was then able to make ADRs etc when our 60 booking came around.
I had the same issue, and I did as above.
