If the 2 of us were staying at SSR in that period (no chance!) and wished to avail ourselves of this event it would be $1100 plus an Uber each way as there is free drink.

That would probably be in the region of $100 for the trip back due to surging.

I know we all do as we wish with our money and what suits one doesn't suit another. But wow $1200+ for some distinctly average food and a partial view of the fireworks. I wouldn't pay that as long as I breathe.

The top hotel in S. Wales. Black tie, drinks reception, entertainment, excellent menu �185 each. Plus if you wish to stay a big reduction on room rates.
