1. Accommodation is very expensive
2. California is huge, you have to be brutal in cutting down what you want to do - you've already done that by sticking to the South

I plan to do a trippie when we're there or when we get back, but that might be too late for your planning...
Thanks for your post. Can I ask where you have been looking for accommodation? Hotels? Apartments? Air bnb?

I have been trying really hard to narrow it down, so much to do and see!
