We are established campers in the UK but first time going to France camping so any help appreciated. Hoping for some good weather in August.
If you are camping with electric, don't forget to buy an adaptor for your cable before you go. The local shop in Touquin village is handy for most of your essentials but I would use the Hypermarket for your main shop at Val D' Europe. There is a big cat zoo/park not far from the campsite, instead of taking the 2nd right at the last roundabout towards Touquin (the one with the shed company on the corner) take the 1st right and follow it down. Pop into the tourist information 1st though at DLP if you decide to go there, the tickets are cheaper in advance than at the gate. Not sure if Tesco still have this in the deals section, but they used to do Parc Asterik tickets, just not checked recently. Depending on how many days you are going into Disney for it maybe worth buying a Annual Pass, carparking in then free and you get 20% off food and shop purchases. Even if you aren't intending on going back more than once within the year it maybe worth buying just 1 pass for the driver and use it for free parking and discounts as I said.
