This is my 7th trip report to Salou but it’s the first time we will be going without Dd. She is going to uni in September so Matt booked us a trip to help with the post uni blues.
So it’s just myself, Julie and OH Matt.
Matt is a head chef. I was a cook manager at a school but I started waitressing at weekends at a holiday resort (open all year round) to see how it went and I was offered a full time job there.
So this is the first term time holiday in 10 years.
It’s Saturday 5th to Thursday 10th October. We are staying at the usual hotel, The Calypso all inclusive. I’m not sure the exact cost as Matt booked it but it was just under £500 in total.
It will be strange with Dd but we are planning a return with her and her bf next June.
As I have been working 7 days since the end of May between my 2 jobs and Matt has also been working most days this will be more relaxing holiday as we are both shattered!
We will still visit local places and buy a Ferrari land ticket and hopefully get to visit Aquapolis, the water park in La Pineda.
