Apple is a prime example here - no US prices available if you try to order off the US Apple site and have stuff shipped outside the USA.

That isn't the case with Disney. Anyone can book using the US site, a lot of people on here do. Same with Universal, Sea World, Discovery Cove and no doubt other tourist places. I have a Universal booking for next year, booked through the US Universal site, charged in dollars.
