Bruges is very easy to do on your own. We joined three other couples from the Cruisecritic roll call and shared a taxi van - dropped us off in the main square unlike the big tour buses which dropped off further out. Prompt pick up and paid back at the port. Can�t remember how much but significantly less than a ship transfer.
