We’ve stayed at the Cabins at Fort Wilderness and they sleep 6. 4 in the bedroom and two on a sofa bed in the living room.
They’re lovely and we had a fab time. However, they are more expensive and the resort is huge. We hired a golf cart which was great fun but another expense on top.
The location is good, you can take a boat to Magic Kingdom.
When we went in 2017 the free dining plan was included, but who knows for the future. You do get a small kitchen with a full sized fridge so you could cook a couple of meals to keep costs down if you wanted. (But then you’d need a car to get to a supermarket) there is a shop with some foods, but quite limited and expensive.
