Currently looking at BA flydrives and trying to decide whether to book a direct flight to SF or save £500 going via Dublin with Aer Lingus so reading about your experience is very helpful. We’ve never gone indirect before as DH gets so stressed on travel day but £500 is a lot of money we could use elsewhere on the trip, and pre-clearance is a big bonus too. He’s saying it’ll be fine but with a 1.5 hour turnaround I don’t know
