This is a very short report!

We landed ok after a light breakfast

touching down at about 4pm (it always seems a bit odd landing from the US in the late afternoon!) It was a drizzly day in the UK

Once off the plane we made our way back to the lounge and we showered which really freshened us up (we’d packed a change of clothes in our hand luggage ready!)

We ate a light meal (meatballs) and had a couple of drinks before heading out to the B gates, via the utilidors/walkways.

After a quick comfort break we started to queue up to get on board and settled down for another nap, must be an age thing! We didn’t want to eat on this flight – just doze, but they handed out menus anyway

After about an hour or so I woke up and took the crews offer of a G and T before landing. Thanks goodness we had no hire car this time round! We touched down at Bucharest at midnight but it was still quite warm out.

Our luggage seemed to take an age to come round the carousel but we got it in the end. We called for an Uber driver and after a couple of tours of the car park we managed to hook up with him and this time we just flew down the roads and onto our hotel – the Ramada Majestic (the same one we stayed in at the beginning)

We checked in with the same receptionist as before and made our way to our room, where we had a coffee and watched TV for a bit before turning the lights off.

Phew! What a busy day travelling.
