No you only need to go through the pay booths to get to the parks parking lots, entry to the resorts is through a security booth where you either need to show your magic band or the ticket they give you for the hotel parking, if you have neither then you need to give them your room number, or restaurant reservation details before they will let you in.

As has been said, as there are onsite guests in the car with you then you are eligible for free parking as long as you show proof of entitlement (i.e. Magic band/room key card etc)
