Exactly my thoughts
Maybe it was a joint decision to celebrate their marriage and first child
Either way it's personal to them.
I think the wearing of jewellery is so personal.
DH died over 3 years ago and I still wear my wedding,eternity ring and engagement rings. Doesn't seem quite right to me to take them off, however my NZ friend was aghast I was still wear them when she visited last year
She thought I ought stop wearing them completely or if I really needed to wear them to wear them on the other hand
