I'm traveling with my mum in April and on our booking our dining plan entitlements list 1 adult and 1 child, yes I am my mums child but I am 37!  This happened last time we traveled too with my DS who is 18.
I phoned Disney and they said it's just the way their system shows it (random though) and as long as I have an adult park ticket my dining entitlements will be adult ones too!
