Only been to LA once over 15 years ago so am looking for a bit of advice on where to stay, going over for a week and want to do one day in disney/knotts berry/universal and we've also got two gigs in the whiskey a go go

So what would you advise on the best place to base/stay or maybe split it between hollywood/anahiem
