Sounds like a great first day. Not surprised Thomas was shattered.
We had a similar guilty parent moment with our DD last year. She had watched Expedition Everest loads and really wanted to ride it. She had a wobble, we encourage her to go on and she burst into tears at the exit. Cue guilty parents
