I wish I had thought to tell you about the car parking and there is a car park underneath the cathedral itself which usually has spaces. Not many people really know its there as its a bit odd for it to be under there. Got everything crossed for her. Did she go on the campus tour with the students too?

We tried the one under the cathedral first but it was full unfortunately. We tried to park in Mount Pleasant car park which is 13 floors high but was full. Luckily as DH was driving round an attendant opened up a small part that was coned off otherwise he would have had to give up and try somewhere else.

We did do the campus tour with the students - we went to an open day and saw some of it but they showed us the gym which we hadn't seen. DH had not been at all so it was good for him. Seeing the uni again just re-enforced how much me and DD liked it - all the emails go out at the same time the week before Christmas we were told.
