Reminded me of when I was about 9 or 10 and on holiday in a caravan in Lancing along with friends of the family and their kids. One night all the parents went out and we kids were left in the charge of a couple of the older ones. We walked to the chippy for supper and then decided to go into all the phone boxes and call the operator - when she answered we would ask if she was on the line and when she said yes - we would say, well you had better get off it as here is a train coming. Sounds a little silly now, but 43 or so years ago, we found it hilarious!
