Please remember that the date of the 15th was just a comment made by a random person on the Disney blog. There's nothing official as to when this will happen. That's not to say it won't happen today, just that it might not happen today.

On that same blog there was someone who said "only new reservations from that date on will qualify for this upgrade" and there was someone else who said "we booked in April and we were told we can definitely take advantage of the upgraded magic band". So, who knows!

I suspect the people who answer Disney's helpline know about as much as we do.

We don't know whether it's gone live yet, nor whether it's supposed to happen today. So, unless someone books today and is able to upgrade their MagicBand, we don't know anything.
