My own recipe for Chinese’s buffet Sandra ,
Place ribs in pan with onion , star anise , cinnamon stick and sprinkle with five spice .
Cover with water and boil vigorously until meat pulling back from bone .
Drain and put in wok minus star anise etc .
Tiny bit of oil high heat turn ribs .
Add hoisin sause , half the amount of sweet and sour plum sause and a good shot of sweet chilli , at this stage I put a tea spoon of red food colour .
Keep turning sause and ribs until we’ll coated .
Place in oven tray at about 180 , put in oven for 30 mins .
They taste great and fall to bits . 😜
