Be warned. Too much food ordered!

Original plan had us at NYPD pizza place but it meant more travelling and it was fairly busy on the roads.

I knew there was a Giordano's near our resort and I had always planned to try one so this was a good opportunity. It was fairly quiet inside which was surprising.

The girls saw calamari on the menu and were desperate to have some even though I’d warned them that we shouldn’t be getting appetisers so as normal I caved in and got them some to share. They loved it though.

As they were getting some me and Kelly Ordered some bruschetta to start with. This was good.

I knew that pizzas can take a while to cook here so I didn’t think it be too much for problem.

When we ordered our pizzas the server looked at us like we were mad as we were ordering four pizzas. He said that was way too much. I honestly thought small ones would be fine! So we ditched one and got three but he had a smug look on his face saying that was still a lot.

They took about 35 to 40 minutes to arrive which is what we were expecting. When they came out they were the size of a large pizza back in the UK. We knew straight away with be eating pizza tomorrow!

The pictures are not great as when he brought to the table he took slices and put them on the plate for a chance to photograph them.

The girls had a plain margarita to share. They thought this was just okay but Kelly said it was really tasty and fresh when she tried some.

Kelly ordered a chicken and bacon barbecue pizza with barbecue sauce as her base. She really enjoyed this and so did the girls when they tried it.

I had to try a deep dish which is what Giordanos is famous for. I went for Meat and More meat. Pepperoni, salami, sausage and bacon. This was amazing. Really tasty but if being honest I found the edges to thick.

This is a small pizza.

So not surprisingly we had some left Boxes were brought out to take away. We didn’t have loads left and didn’t embarrass ourselves though. We have a Morning by the pool tomorrow so we’ll be finishing it for lunch!

We enjoyed it as we don’t normally go for pizza. I’d recommend it definitely but remember small is big
