I have done this in the past for 12 and it’s very easy. Everybody will need a My Disney Experience account. You can then, using your account, send them requests to link up as friends family. Whenever you or someone in you friends family group books or amends a fast pass, My Disney Experience will ask who else in the friends/family group the booking/amendment is being made for. So it’s easy to get every one on the same ride at the same time, or split the group into mini groups doing different rides. Just make sure everyone knows how to do it as it’s very easy to become the groups unofficially nominated fast pass administrator
