:) Disneyland Hotel

Hotel
Disneyland Hotel Castle Club Room with Park View

How Booked
Hotel and Park tickets through Cresta
Flights through easyjet.com

Rooms
Standard Room
Has 2 double beds.
Classic Victorian decoration and classy disney boarder.
TV Cabinet with pale mural of disney on and tinkerbell, with disney channel, also has mini fridge/snacks in cabinet that is very expensive. Draws at the bottom of the cabinet. There is a wadrobe and safe (no charge). Small table and chairs also in the room. (Connecting door to other room for larger families)
In the bathroom there is a vanity unit with double sinks, hair dryer, mickey toiletries and towels.
Phones are also in the rooms, but very expensive to use to call home.

Castleclub Room
Rooms same as standard room but you get a small balcony, that you can stand on and you can choose to have a park view room or view of fantasia gardens. (You also get mickey chocolate coins on your pillow every night and some Disneyland Paris slippers)

Food
Breakfast is served till around 11am each morning.
Outside the restaurant there are disney characters around 5 or 6 at a time. They will let you get autographs and take pictures and there is also a professional photographer with one of the characters. The characters are there all morning - till breakfast stops serving.
Breakfast is a buffet. Cereal, fruit, toast, egg, suasage, croissants, yoghurt and more. In the castle club you have breakfast in the castle club lounge where you get a similar style buffet breakfast but also get salmon etc.

There are 2 restaurants California Grill serving West Coast Amercan Cuisine and Inventions which is a hot and cold buffet, we have never been to any so cannot comment on what they are like but the prices are high for inventions.

Hotel Facilities
The swimming pool in the Disneyland Hotel is very small compared with all the other Disney Hotels and is also very deep, i
couldn't even stand up in it (however I am only 4foot 9), there is also a small jacuzzi at the bottom end of the pool - to be honest though we don't really have time to use the pool because by the time we had gotten back from the parks it was closed.
There is a disney boutique which is open all day till late at night, there are also payphones outside the boutique.
Concierge service just give them a ring and they will book dining etc.
Luggage service - as soon as you arrive they will take your luggage off you and then take it to your room, when checking out just ring them and they will pick it up and store it till you leave.
Steam room and gym.
Cafe fantasia piano bar serve drinks alcoholic and non alcoholic all day - very relaxed atmosphere with piano player.
2 Restaurants, california grill and Inventions restaurant.
WIFI access in some locations of the hotel. (castle club lounge, reception, meeting rooms, restaurants and bar)
Room service - again expensive.
VIP Fastpass - gives 3 opportunities per person.
If you are staying in the castle club you get a different VIP fastpass which gives you an unlimited fast pass.
Childrens Playroom
Mad Hatters Game arcade.
If staying in the castle club you get direct access lift to the entrance of the park via your special room key.
You can register your credit card details and charge everything to your room.
Valet free parking.

Transportation

To get to the hotel from the airport terminal 3 we got a taxi which cost around 60 euros. (They may try to charge you extra so you may need to barter with them) Often there are private taxis offering there services at the airport - this is what we normally use. There is also a taxi rank outside - they are the ones who will tend to give you a higher price. Taxis only take around 40 mins to get to Disney. (we always get a taxi as it only costs a few extra euros than getting the shuttle).
You can also get on the disney shuttle which does take a lot longer, you can check the prices and times at website vea

There is not really any need to mention transporation as the Disneyland Hotel is above the entrance to the Disneyland Park and a 2 minute walk to the Disney Studios and Disney Village.

To get back to the airport we called the reception from our room and they booked us a taxi, and last year when we went we got the business card for the taxi which brought us and asked reception to call the same taxi.

Other Comments

I love the Disneyland Hotel becuase I feel like a big princess! I love staying in the castle club room because you get a great view of the fireworks and can here the park music below. When you stay in the Castle Club you also get free hot and cold beverages all day and free afternoon tea with scrumptious cakes and cookies. As we normally go in the christmas season we love to nip back to the hotel for the afternoon tea and a hot drink.
