Staying off site so very unlikely to get a FP during our stay. Will also be visiting in the evening to try to get a shorter standby near to park closing.
DDs favourite breakfast is Tusker House so will be doing it anyway, just wondered if the same concept applies as for example BOG and SDMT?

Definitely not. If anything it will disadvantage you as I believe other people will be let part way into the park before opening time so they will all be well ahead of you. Tusker House is great for beating the queues for Kilimanjaro Safari.
