No experience sorry.

However a few things I have learnt along the way from colleagues of mine

See a GP early on to get it logged on their system - best of luck with that at this current time.
See a Physio for advice/treatment.
If necessary go Private and see a Consultant at Spire etc who specialises in neck injuries.

Finally never accept an offer from an Insurer until at least 2+ years have passed. My colleague did and eventually it got worse and worse and he is crippled and lost his job. All becuase he accepted the circa �1600 pay out.
