Lived in Toronto for years, Timmies coffee and doughnut for breakfast every day for literally years.

The UK doughnuts are a decent approximation but due to some rules on preservatives etc. they aren't exactly the same. Equally something that costs 99c in Toronto is 99p or more in the UK outlets - which sounds ok until you remember there are almost 2 Canadian dollars to the pound.

That said everytime I go there the smells transport me back to Toronto
