I agree the Cosmo. Much nicer hotel.
When we have gone with kids we have tended to stay at the other end of the strip (MGM end) to be away from the heart of the strip on a night where it can get a bit chaotic but we did visit the Cosmo a couple of times to look around and eat in the Wicked Spoon buffet. Got a work colleague who has stayed there in one of the fountain view rooms and the photos are amazing! Suppose it depends what you want. My son went through a phase of loving swimming so once when we went we chose the hotel because of the kid friendly pool for example. If you purely decide on which is the nicest hotel though then Cosmo hands down.
