I’m not sure, but I think it may be different for you with a child, as you can’t really leave her alone.
For us, we had 2 adults and 3 children, one of the children being the disabled one, so only one person was allowed with him.
Saying that, we didn’t bother anyway as we don’t bother stopping to watch parades.
