Natsynoo's Perfect Panamian Adventure: DCL EBPC Oct 2018 - Day 9 At Sea

We woke up this morning at 7.45am in time for our character breakfast reservation at 8.30am.

In the meantime, I had a message from my sister complimenting me on last night’s outfit (the red dress) and telling me I clearly wasn’t eating enough – errr, yes I was! It made me laugh!

The character breakfast was standard for DCL and honestly I don’t think we’ll do it again. We always find it cramped, limited menu, rushed, loud, and just not the experience we envisage. Nonetheless, it was nice to see Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Pluto.

We were out on deck for 9.30am, where we finished watching Sleeping Beauty and then Moana. I also finished my second book of the trip so far, it was so nice to have such a lot of ‘chill time’.

It started to rain at 11am, so we say down on Deck 9 for a while watching Moana. I went in the hot tub for 45 minutes before lunch, which was nice.

Cabanas lunch today had an Italian theme, the lasagne was particularly good.

The afternoon was a washout , and Matt wasn’t best pleased. It did feel like a waste of a day but Matt wasn’t keen on any of the afternoon’s activities, so we ended up just hanging around on Deck 9. We did meet Pirate Stitch though!

We got ready for the evening at 4.30pm, and were excited for tonight’s showtime - Junnk! The lads from Junnk are local to us here in Bournemouth so we occasionally see them around, which is cool.

Tonight’s Trivia was TV Tunes, and we scored a dismal 9/26. Our drinks tonight were again $4.31. Matt enjoyed some chicken wings too.
