Hello and welcome! The main advantage with a car is the relatively large amount of time you will save, especially if you are off site. I’ve been once with no car and never again - I used Uber, taxis etc and in traffic it was taking an hour to and from Disney. The shuttles to universal are fine but you will likely be on fixed times for the shuttles and they are very limited at peak times and jam packed too.

We like to have the freedom of our car and the odd time to use Uber. If you do go for a car you need to factor in fairly high parking prices too at the parks.

Whatever you decide hello and welcome, and happy planning!
