He can get it done in advance by post and go to a solicitor her to get their declarations notorized (we were quoted between �50 to �100) or can simply go to the courthouse before the wedding with their passports (and $86) and get the licence ... takes about 15 minutes.

We looked at the by post route and decided as it can be done at any courthouse in Florida it wasn't worth the messing about and extra cost and will get it once there.

No implications to holding an Irish passport ... all the best people do ! (I may be biased as I can have either
