Very high mark up on UPVC windows and doors and they don't cost much to make (I do accept that the quality can vary). I've installed some smaller upvc windows myself and upvc french doors. I've also replaced the blown sealed window units myself (usually very easy to do). I was quoted around �280 with vat to replace a large sealed unit in my front room (ground floor) and I bought the unit myself and took the old one out and fitted the new one in around an hour, and it cost me about �75 for the sealed unit.
