Hi first check were you want to fly to, possibly consider a circular route and try to make all stops at least 2 nights.
example into LA.
Drive to san diego 4 n
2 n palm springs
? 3 n vegas
1 n death valley
3/4 n Yosemite
4 n san fran
3 n Monterey
2 n santa Barbara or similar on coast
then LA for your Disney fix etc
