The gardens are free and well worth a look and a quiet sit down. As well as the flamingos there are penguins fed at 8.30 am and 3.00 pm daily. There is also a memorial to Bugsy Siegal, one of the original gangsters responsible for establishing the Strip. In the entrance under the walkway to the Monorail there is a display of old pictures showing how the Flamingo has changed over the years - well worth a look if you are interested in heritage type stuff.
