Bubba Gumps.

After we had a day at IOA it was off to City Walk and dinner at Bubba Gumps. It was very busy outside with lots of people waiting. I rolled up to the check in desk and pulled out my Landrys Card. We were immediately called through and seated straight away. Very cool! I got my Landrys Select membership about a month before we came paying $25 but getting that added to my account to use. I also had an extra $25 as it was my birthday month.

There was a nice atmosphere inside. Our server explained how things worked as we'd never been before. He took drink orders as well. Marian pushed tithe boat out and had a Mama's Blue Hawaiian cocktail.

Sorry a little blurred!

We got onion strings to start. These were just ok. Nothing special.

For mains I had the baby back ribs and fries which were nice.

Marian and Kelly had the surf and turf, ribs and shrimp which they both enjoyed.

Den had the Captains Fish and Chips we he liked. I think he would have preferred a large piece of fish rather than several smaller pieces.

Lily had Mac n cheese again. It came with fries and blue jelly. It came in a "Jenny" boat. She didn't eat much.

Evie had the kids fish and chips which she really enjoyed.

The girls unfortunately were being a bit grumpy and sleepy at the table and the server assumed we'd had enough as he was trying to do the Forest Gump trivia, I excelled at this by the way, so he brought us our cheque before we'd even asked for it which was a little presumptuous but no harm done as we were pretty tired and full.

I gave him my Landrys Card and a little later someone else appeared with the bill and thanked me for my membership. I think he was a supervisor or something. My new cheque had my $50 taken off so with tip we paid $109 for the 6 of us.

A nice meal we would do again.

Thumbs up

Frozen Butterbeer and Universal refill cup.

Lovely but like Le Fou's brew, brain freeze inducing. As you can see in a souvenir cup which you could get soft drink refills in for 99c+ tax.

Den got one without the souvenir cup but I think Lily Belle drank most of it!

Lard Lad Donuts@Springfield at IOA.

The Big Pink

This cost around $5. It was huge but surprisingly tasty. It didn't last long between us all!

Glad you liked bubba gump. The Landry card is s no brainier if you are eating there - bit of vip treatment. My dd loved those big pink donuts.
