Don't you want to go somewhere new? First trip report April 7th 2017

Hi all,
despite having been to Orlando a few times now and being a member of the Dibb, I have never done a trip report. this time I have decided to give it ago. this trip report had a fair few names before I settled with this one, including- where's the heat? and I need a restroom, reasons why will become apparent as we go on. I went with the name in the end as its one question I keep getting asked by people at work who have never been. If you've never been, then you don't know!

We landed back at LHR this morning so will take me a few days to get everything together.
I'm not promising anything great. in fact it will probably be just ramblings but if anyone can get some small snippet from it then I'll be happy.

So to start; party consists of Me, DH {Nathan}, DD{Michigan-12}, DS{Keegan-8}, my Mum and Dad.

flew out April 8th-22nd LHR-ATL-MCO, Delta/virgin codeshare.
Stayed at a villa in Southern Dunes.


Pre travel day 7th April.
The only people who had to be up today were myself, DD and DS, everyone else had the day off however we all had to go to school/work.
uneventful morning at work with me getting very little done due to impending excitement of said holiday.
finished work at 12.30 and dashed home to get changed, run hoover round, put bleach in toilets and deliver pets to their new homes for the next fortnight before picking up kids from school and going straight to mums house where all the luggage had already been taken the day before. Kids got changed and taxi arrived at 4.30pm and we were off to Travelodge at T5.
Checked in and got sorted then headed down for dinner in the bar.
Kids and I shared a pizza, mum had garlic mushrooms, dad had a jacket potato with quarter roast chicken and dh had peri peri chicken, we also shared some nachos, with drinks this came to £49. It wasn't amazing food and the portions were small but it filled a gap and we had snacks with us.
Mum, kids and I went back to rooms while men stayed in bar and had another drink. After showers we all went to bed and by around 10pm both kids were asleep, alarm was set for 4.30am.

Thank you all for replying. I can't promise a great read, but just wanted to give it a go. The title came about as so many people at work have asked me this (though funnily enough it's only the ones who have never been) and it started to get on my nerves. We all love it in Orlando and we always do something new when we go. I love making the memories and seeing my kids faces light up over and over again. Happy reading x
