Porkers on Tour - Easter 2017 Day 7

Day 7 Relaxing, Crazy Golf.

It was a quiet day today after our two days at Universal, although it didn’t start off quietly. There was a thunder storm at around 5am that shook the windows of the villa. At one point I heard a bang from the direction of the bathroom and thought one of the ornaments must have fallen off the window ledge but when I looked I couldn’t see anything so have no idea what the bang was.

Adrian and Tom never heard it!

I finally dragged my bum out of bed at 10.15am when the phone rang. I took so long figuring out how to answer it that it stopped. There were 29 missed calls by the time our holiday had finished.

It was a day of relaxing with a bit of washing and tidying up, swimming and sunbathing and viewing some wildlife.

We had lunch of rolls and hotdogs outside.

The driving licence came at 3.45pm.

So we showered, and went to Walmart for supplies, Fresh rolls, root beer (yuk) I got some memory foam flip flops and we looked for more pool toys but nothing took our fancy.

Back to the villa to drop supplies off and have some tea. More rolls and hot dogs.

It was getting a lot cooler now so we covered the pool. The pool also seemed to be making a funny noise when the pump came on as if it had an air lock in it. Not sure what that was about. At 7.30 we decided to go and play some Crazy golf. We chose Congo River much further along the 192 past Old Town. We played at this one in 2009 when we came with my mum and stepdad.

We needed cardigans and fleeces tonight and Adrian even put his jogging bottoms on.

As I had my licence now I drove which meant some country music on the radio. K92.3

I was very pretty driving back past Old Town with all the lights. 40 minutes later and we were back at the villa for 10.40pm

Tom went straight to bed when we got back and we sat outside for a while when we got back and it was the first time it was warmer inside the villa than outside. The thermometer on the wall said it was 60 degrees. It had mostly been over 80 everyday so far. So we gave up and went to bed and watched a bit of Roseanne on the tv, I fell asleep quite quickly.

I dont remember the loud storm either! I must sleep really heavily...

I was in bed at OKW when I heard the storm, thought that the thunder was shaking the building and that I was going to fall out of bed!

Hubby murmured and rolled over - both boys never heard a thing!

I heard the thunder (no one else did!) but don't remember it being cold in the evening - we didn't use our cardigans all holiday.

Great chilling out day and crazy golf is always a laugh. Those storms can be so loud, how did they sleep through it ?!
