Annual passes

Do annual passes expire on the first day you've used them the following year?

So if I upgraded my tickets to AP and had my first day on 23/10, it would expire on that day next year?

Do you lose your memory maker and mini golf perks with an AP?

Do you have to upgrade your ticket before you use it?

AP expire on the same day the following year- so you actually get one year and a day to use them.
I assume you are upgrading from an Ultimate ticket. If so the new ticket will start from the day the original ticket was used. If you have used the water parks or the golf before you upgrade then you can only upgrade to the top tier pass. You can upgrade before you use the ticket or within the next 14 days.

No Current AP includes free mini golf. so you will not be able to use it after upgrading.

Cheers. So theoretically I could upgrade on day 14...the last day of our holidays having used the tickets for 2 weeks

If you upgrade a 14 day pass to an annual pass, the annual pass will start the first day you used the 14 day tickets and last for one year.

You can and the AP expiry date will be backdated to the day the Ultimate ticket was first used plus a year. If you have used the golf or Water parks then you can only upgrade to the higher cost pass.

I would not leave it until the last day- upgrades from UK passes is far from easy and it's very common to be given different prices from different CM's, check out the threads on here, there a range of them with people getting very different answers on prices to upgrade.

If you call into the golf on the last day and hang about for 5 mins waiting for your slot tell them the kids don't want to hang about and they will give you a 'Rain Check' this will be good for your next visit.
As there is no AP with golf only 50% off the cost you will be able to golf on your next visit without paying.
Well worth 5 mins..

Also, there is no memory maker on an AP BUT there is photopass and it comes with photopass downloads.
I'm not sure exactly what the difference is so worthwhile checking before you upgrade.
We are also planning on upgrading to AP when we arrive but only after we have used our ults for 1 day, as I was told to do this to 'lock in' the value!
