The all sorts trip day 5 London

Today was our only day inLondon so we decided to make the most of it yesterday when I brought the crawly tickets i brought day tickets for London not Gatwick express but just normal ones. We decided to splash out 😂 and get a taxi 9.50 from our hotel to gatwick which was fine . The driver said no luggage I said no as we leave most of the luggage at Gatwick and just take out what we need ie clean clothes for a couple of day that way we not taking the lipuggage with us. He said good idea I have to do that 😂. We went in then caught he train 🚂 in to London took about 35 minutes we headed to the London eye but the wind was strong so decided not to ride . I had to check in with ba so we found a little place that had wifi we ordered porage with honey I did not like it so the kind waiter took it off the bill I tryed to log in but it world not let me but when I checked our seats they been moved from 8 to 16 I was non 2 pleased I paid for row 8 I have to send a email to ba but never mind. We spent the next 5 hours just going around on the underground 🚋 getting off diffrent stops and justninjoying ourselfs we also went to the mm store . We headed back around 4 and checked in the bloke on the desk said I should asked for a refund of my 💺 as I did not get what I order . We where back in hotel by 8 as tommow we fly to Rome

Here some pics

CartoonP. Another good day. Not good news about your pre paid seats but I'm sure you will sort it out.
More good photos.
Sad to say I know Boston and New York better than London!
Apart from dozens of visits to the Home Office I have only been there twice in my life and that was when I was 15 and 20

I suspect it has changed a bit in the 42 years since I last visited as a tourist

Enjoy your next leg of the trip. Well done.

MR T I confess I've never been in London but we are planning a trip when the new sleeper trains from Glasgow start
Looks as though you had good weather hope you get the seats sorted

Fingers crossed for you. Should be ok though as you paid for seats that weren't then available.

You are so laid back you are horizontal I would have been having a right stress about the seats. Maria making do with minimal luggage my Al would love her. Have a great time

Thanks Sharon x life to short to worry about it I sort it out . They know they made a mistake so we see what happens. The luggage was a easy thing to decide you only where x amount over 2 days you take what you need leave the main lot at left luggage and pick the rest up when you fly just before you check in your 💼 you put your clothes you used in the case take to bag drop and away you go.

What a beautiful photo of the eye. But you're right, I wouldn't fancy it in the wind either.
