I looked on the Disney web but only the US site sells them, didn't look into shipping.
I suppose if you knew some1 traveling over they could buy and return without activating them?

Both.

The problem with buying them from eBay is that they are supplied unofficially and there's no 100% guarantee the "brand new" ones will work or haven't been used before. Although I'm sure some suppliers are legit. So it's up to you to risk it.

As you say, if you know someone going over to the USA beforehand then they can get some for you.

funniest thing is the amount of extra pictures you get, had a load from a family of oriental appearance in my downloads from animal kingdom!

Sorry to hijack your thread but we are 3 families going together. ive organised it all so tickets are linked to one disney account. Can we scan one ticket if we want to get separate family photos and also group photos and just let them all go on one account?

Have you only one account or just linked accounts?

If you want individual family photos I think they need their own accounts. We are going with2 other families next time but will all have mde accounts and link via friends and family. Whoever scans will get the photos sent to their account so if DH scans I don’t get them appear on my account.

We have just one account. It's my inlawsand best friend so I don't mind I can send them into them. I just mean can I scan my card if we want say a family pic, they want a family pic and we want a group one. Will the photographer mind if we get say 3 separate photos and use the same band 3 times? Sorry does that make sense?

Yes you can ask for a few different photos and you only need to scan the band/card at the end. We would quite often have one of all of us and an individual one too. They can also put the same pictures on 2 accounts if you have 2 bands/cards.

We have just got back. Used MM, had no magic bands and just scanned one of our tickets (they were linked). Have to say the quality is hit n miss. One photographer in a prime location for the castle totally missed the same thing altogether out of our shoots making the selfies we took far superior! On the whole a nice thing to have but not sure I'd pay for it, but can see with big groups how it would be useful.

Memory Maker is amazing. We got over 500 photos in our 14 day holiday. Its so easy, just scan your band and they come up on the app almost instantly.

The magic shots are great fun, Ratatouille ones in France are probably our favourites
